Routine Maintenance
Here at Facilicare we can provide Routine maintenance (RM) maintenance activities carried out regularly. Tasks can be performed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually. Routine maintenance typically includes regular inspections
Fire Equipment servicing
Checking and caring for a fire protection system so that it functions for as long as possible without needing to be repaired.
Replacing worn parts of the fire protection system depending on the system.
Conducting a six monthly check for fire alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency lights.
Conducting an annual check for hoses, fire hydrants, and fire extinguishers.
Conducting fire drills as required.

FRA (Fire risk assessment)
A fire risk assessment is an evaluation of fire hazards and fire protection measures in a building or workplace. It helps to identify, reduce and prevent the risks of fire and its consequences for people and property. A fire risk assessment is required by law in the UK for workplaces and buildings with two or more sets of domestic premises.
Portable appliance testing (P.A.T)
Portable Appliance Testing, also known as PAT testing, is the examination or inspection of electrical appliances and equipment that ensures they are safe to use. PAT testing ensures the appliances and equipment are safe and helps to prevent electrical accidents in the workplace. PAT testing should be done on a routine basis and clear and concise records should be documented.
Legionella testing
Legionella bacteria is commonly found in water. The bacteria multiply where temperatures are between 20-45°C and nutrients are available. The bacteria are dormant below 20°C and do not survive above 60°C.
Legionnaires' disease is a potentially fatal type of pneumonia, contracted by inhaling airborne water droplets containing viable Legionella bacteria. Such droplets can be created, for example, by: hot and cold water outlets; atomisers; wet air conditioning plant; and whirlpool or hydrotherapy baths. Water samples should be analysed for Legionella periodically to demonstrate that bacteria counts are acceptable. The frequency should be determined by level of risk, in accordance with the risk assessment

EICR (Electrical installation condition report)
An EICR is typically carried out by a qualified electrician, who will conduct a thorough inspection of the electrical installation, including the wiring, consumer unit, and all other electrical components. The electrician will also test the installation to ensure that it is operating within safe and acceptable parameters, Once the inspection is complete, the electrician will prepare an EICR report, which will detail any defects or hazards that were identified, along with recommendations for any repairs or upgrades that are required. The report will also include a schedule of inspection, which will outline when the next inspection is due. In conclusion, Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a vital tool for ensuring the safety and compliance of an electrical installation. It is important for landlords and property owners to have regular EICR inspections to make sure that the electrical installation is safe and fit for purpose and to identify any potential hazards or defects that may need to be addressed.
